Professor in Work and Organizational Psychology (with a focus on individual intervention)

The Département de psychologie is seeking applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Work and Organizational Psychology (individual intervention).

Responsibilities

The appointed candidate will be expected to teach at the undergraduate level and at the graduate level in the Work and Organizational program (Psy.D. and Ph.D.), supervise student research leading to theses and doctoral essays, engage in outreach and publications activities of a scientific and/or professional nature, and contribute to the activities of the Department and of the Institution. Teaching may take place at the Montreal campus or at the Laval campus.

Requirements

• PhD in Psychology, with a specialization in Work and Organizational Psychology.
• Knowledge of evaluation and intervention methods in work and organizational psychology, and of their theoretical and empirical foundations.
• Demonstrated ability, via publications, of competence in research and of capacity to contribute to the academic and professional reputation of the Department.
• Relevant practical experience as a professional in individual evaluation/intervention in work and organizational psychology.
• Ability to supervise practica in individual evaluation/intervention in an organizational context.
• Constitute assets:
o Experience of involvement and networking in work environments.
o University teaching experience.
• Member of, or eligibility to become member of, the Ordre des psychologues du Québec.
• Proficiency in French

• copies of recent publications and research
• a brief description of research interests and program (maximum 3 pages)

Three letters of recommendation are also to be sent directly to the Department Chair by the referees.
